Community Ecstatic Dance and Song Circle

Ecstatic dance is free form dance that really comes down to moving your body however you feel called. Wiggle, stretch, shake, flow, roll around on the floor, there are no rules to how you move. We ask only that the personal physical boundaries of others are respected. If in doubt, just ask. Dancing together is welcome!

Come for the dance and stay for the song circle or just come for the dancing or singing. Ecstatic dance is from 10-11, with song circle from 11-12.

Song circle is a collaborative, relaxed space where everyone is welcome to explore their voice in a community setting. No experience or level of singing ability is required. Though the majority of the circle focuses on singing we will also do playful vocal warmups, experiment with sounds (animal for example), and settle into a comfortable space where all voices are embraced. Anyone is welcome to share a simple song and even step into teaching it to others.

This is an all ages, family friendly, queer inclusive space.

This is a free offering, but small donations to support the space are welcome.
